Please note this role is in Scone, NSW the Upper Valley area. 
 
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Embrace and embody our client's mission and core values in your daily work.
  2. Offer expert advisory services specific to dementia care within our facilities, providing on-the-ground support and participating in clinical review meetings.
  3. Ensure adherence to our client's Model of Care and Case Management Framework in all consulting work.
  4. Foster staff development through communication, education, and mentoring, including hands-on support and case study discussions.
  5. Collaborate with teams to set and achieve practice development goals and quality improvements.
  6. Provide mentoring and support within designated areas, actively contributing to team activities and professional growth.
  7. Stay abreast of current evidence-based practices in dementia care and integrate them into your role.
  8. Effectively communicate, delegate, and manage projects using established processes.
  9. Engage in ongoing learning and contribute to the collective knowledge of the Dementia Centre team.
  10. Undertake additional projects and assignments as required, leveraging your expertise and skills.
Education, Experience, and Skills:

Essential:
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in the Australian Aged Care Industry with demonstrated expertise.
  • Registered Nurse or Allied Health qualification.
  • Proven ability to teach, mentor, and coach others.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Effective problem-solving skills relevant to aged and dementia care.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and administrative tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Empathy and patience.
Desirable:
  • 5 years' experience in the Australian Aged Care Industry.
  • Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
  • Commitment to workplace health, safety, and wellbeing.
