Job description

The Role 
Collaborating with local and global teams to drive demand and business growth by analysing product portfolios, conducting market research, defining product requirements, establishing specifications, pricing, and timelines for product launches, and devising effective marketing strategies.

Salary: base DOE, super, car allowance $20k (plus e-tag and onsite parking), bonus
Responsibilities
  • Communicate and ensure understanding of marketing plans, budgets, and monthly results, taking corrective action when necessary.
  • Identify market trends and customer needs to inform product line decisions.
  • Evaluate competition and develop strategies to enhance market positioning.
  • Manage portfolio communications and assess market share.
  • Cultivate relationships with key opinion leaders and distributors.
  • Provide sales forecasts and analyses to management.
  • Adjust inventory levels based on demand.
  • Launch new products in the ANZ market that align with global strategy.
  • Determine pricing based on market research and cost analysis.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and developments.
  • Develop annual marketing plans including promotion strategies, forecasts, and sales force actions.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to align marketing programs and provide market feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes of conduct and participate in tender and contract submissions.
  • Facilitate training for the sales team and other staff.
  • Maintain pricing approach and coordinate company participation in trade displays and conferences.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ensure documentation and quality systems are up to date.
  • Adhere to company quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Admin 
  • Manage marketing administration, streamline processes, and analyse sales results.
  • Liaise with finance and customer service departments.
  • Prepare monthly reports and maintain accurate demand forecasts.

Competencies & Experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Science/Healthcare and/or Business/Marketing.
  • Proven experience in healthcare/medical device product management.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Accountability for quality and timeliness of work.
  • Ability to work autonomously and in small teams.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and organisation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Results-oriented with negotiation and influencing abilities.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
