As a globally recognized provider of specialized chemical pump solutions, my client serves a diverse range of industries, including chemical, manufacturing, food/dairy, pharmaceutical, water, wastewater, OEM, and mining.

The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, skilled, and self-driven Assembly Technician to join our team at our Head Office in Castle Hill. Reporting to the Production Manager, your responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting in the construction of skid systems and baseplates
  • Trimming impellers and performing basic turning jobs
  • Painting pumps, motors, and associated equipment
  • Conducting electrical cabling tasks as required
  • Documenting test results for all assembled pumps
  • Inspecting, reporting, and repairing returned pumps
  • Assisting with mechanical issues
  • Overhauling pumps
  • Assembling and testing pumps using components sourced from Asia and Europe
What You Will Bring
We seek an individual with a robust technical background and proven workshop experience. A trade background in engines or other machinery would be relevant and advantageous.

Additional experience and qualifications should include:
  • Trade certificate in machining or equivalent
  • Experience in assembly and equipment testing
  • Forklift certification (beneficial but not necessary)
  • Welding certification (beneficial but not necessary)
  • Electrical Disconnect/Reconnect qualifications (assistance available if required)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Flexibility and adaptability to manage changing priorities
