Job description

This role will be 90% Generating New Business. 

Primary Objective:
  • Identify and generate new sales opportunities within Regulatory Departments, Global Key Accounts, and Regional Key Accounts across the SEA region.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams within the comapies Strategic Business Unit.
Key Responsibilities:Sales & Business Development:
  • Partner with Business Managers and Application Teams during customer visits to provide strong commercial support.
  • Promote Mycotoxin, Allergen, Food Pathogen, GMO, and Hygiene products at marketing events and activities.
  • Collaborate with Distributors, Channel Partners, and Business Managers as part of daily operations.
Account Management:
  • Oversee Global Key Accounts at the regional level.
  • Achieve Global Key Account sales targets in the SEA region.
  • Provide quotations to distributors for special cases or projects, and close orders using salesforce.com.
Sales Performance & Forecasting:
  • Forecast sales, track performance, and ensure revenue and profitability targets for the companies products are met.
Customer Support & Product Promotion:
  • Conduct product demonstrations and organize global training programs, workshops, and regional seminars.
  • Support customers with on-site validations and execute experimental protocols to secure qualifications and order success.
Marketing & Brand Awareness:
  • Assist the regional marketing team in developing sales support materials and marketing campaigns.
  • Drive brand awareness through training and seminars for clients, channel partners, and the sales team.
Industry Networking & Relationship Management:
  • Maintain relationships with local business and technical associations.
  • Network with industry key opinion leaders to expand sales opportunities.
Salesforce.com Engagement:
  • Ensure daily engagement with salesforce.com to support opportunities tracking. 
To Be Successful
  • Minimum Bachelor of Science in Food Technology, Biomedical Science or equivalent
  • 8 years of relevant experience in sales and business development
  • Strong leadership capabilities and established track record in effective leadership talents which includes people
    development in channel partners.
  • Proven track record of achievement in a prior sales position
  • Demonstrate strong closing skills. Prior training in Customer Focus Selling skills course will be an advantage.
  • Preferably working knowledge of food safety diagnostic kits
  • Possess excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Highly dedicated and sales driven with a high degree of personal motivation.
  • Demonstrate strong passion to understand and network with Food Safety industry.
  • Frequent travel is expected in accordance with business needs.
