Key responsibilities include:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities: Drive growth by identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities.
  • Manage current customer requirements: Ensure timely order fulfillment and address customer needs.
  • Achieve sales volume growth targets: Maintain profitability while driving sales volume growth.
  • Conduct regular customer visits: Gain insights and deliver exceptional service through regular customer interactions.
  • Develop product knowledge: Gain a comprehensive understanding of products and their applications.
  • Efficiently manage stock: Prevent issues like aging and stockouts through effective stock management.
  • Follow up on payments: Ensure timely transactions by regularly following up on payments.
  • Share market and technical information: Keep the sales team informed with relevant market and technical insights.
  • Resolve customer complaints: Address and resolve customer complaints and product quality issues promptly.
To Succeed:
  • Experience: 3-5 years in front-line sales or a technical sales role.
  • Track record: Proven success in developing and growing new business.
  • Attributes: Self-motivated, persistent, with a can-do attitude.
  • Approach: Proactive in serving customers and building strong relationships.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with strong commercial acumen.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel interstate or overseas once a month for a week.
  • Industry knowledge: Knowledge of the polymer, chemical, or a similar industry is advantageous. A degree in Chemistry or Polymer Science is desirable but not mandatory.
