Currently seeking an Audio & Communications Engineer to join their dedicated Engineering Team in Sydney. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role suited to someone with strong technical knowledge, excellent interpersonal skills, and a drive to deliver world-class broadcast experiences.
What You’ll Do:
- Set up and test in-field audio and communications systems for live and studio productions.
- Ensure all comms facilities are operationally ready by hand-over time, maintaining neat and professional setups at all times.
- Collaborate closely with the Audio Director and Technical Manager to understand the scale, scope, and timing of each project.
- Travel to production sites across Australia, including weekend and evening work – particularly in sporting event coverage.
- Proven experience with Riedel and/or RTS communication systems (or similar).
- A solid operational understanding of audio consoles, especially LAWO and Calrec.
- At least 3 years of experience in television broadcasting, ideally with technical knowledge at an Engineering level.
- Flexibility to work weekends and travel as needed – this is the nature of live broadcast!
