About the Company
We are partnering with a market leader in industrial automation products who manufacture products and solutions for the electrical and automation industries. The Australian arm of their business is currently performing above market averages as they continue to innovate and deliver new products to market.
  
About the Role
As an Automation Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts within the Industrial Automation portfolio. You will work closely with customers, providing technical advice and support while driving sales and promoting our innovative solutions.
  
Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve and exceed sales growth targets 
  • Demonstrate technical expertise on all automation products and solutions.
  • Develop and manage relationships with channel partners through joint sales activities and training.
  • Promote and support packaged control systems and end-to-end solutions.
  • Prepare proposals, respond to tenders, and negotiate agreements with customers.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and product innovations.
About You
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred).
  • 3+ years of external field sales experience in industrial automation or a related field.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience working with engineers, consultants, system integrators, and contractors.
  • Proficiency in planning, organizing, and managing projects effectively.

Salary: circa $110k + Super + Car, Fuel Card (or vehicle allowance) & Bonus
Location: Tullamarine, VIC
