About the Role:
Reporting to the National Sales & Marketing Manager, this role is perfect for a results-oriented sales professional who excels at managing accounts, driving new business, and delivering exceptional service. Key responsibilities include:
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring repeat business and customer satisfaction.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the industrial equipment and consumables sector.
- Sales Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve targets and drive revenue growth.
- Market Understanding: Stay updated on industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform sales strategies.
- CRM & Reporting: Utilize CRM tools to track customer interactions, manage sales pipelines, and report on performance metrics.
- Product Knowledge: Become an expert on our product range, advising customers on the best solutions for their needs.
- Experience: 3+ years in sales/account management, preferably within the industrial equipment, power tools, industrial consumables, or related sectors.
- Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the needs of tradies and wholesalers is highly advantageous.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Results-Driven: A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Valid Driver’s License: Ability to travel to client sites as required.
