They are now seeking a talented Business Development Manager to join their team and drive their sales efforts across Queensland, South Australia, and the Australian Capital Territory.

Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with a proven track record in specification sales, eager to build strong relationships and open new revenue streams. This role requires a professional who is passionate about engaging with architects and designers, and who thrives on the challenge of expanding market presence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve growth targets in QLD, SA, and ACT.
  • Identify and target potential clients, including architects, designers, and key decision-makers in the commercial sector.
  • Conduct regular client visits, presentations, and product demonstrations to showcase luxury flooring solutions.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities to proactively drive business development efforts.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and negotiate contracts to close deals successfully.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the brand and expand the client base.
Key Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in specification sales, preferably within the flooring or interior design industry.
  • Strong understanding of the commercial sector and the ability to engage with architects and designers.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a passion for opening new revenue streams.
  • Ability to travel within QLD, SA, and ACT to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
