As Care Manager, you’ll work closely with the General Manager and multidisciplinary team to oversee day-to-day clinical operations and lead a team of nurses and care staff. About the Opportunity
As Care Manager, you’ll work closely with the General Manager and multidisciplinary team to oversee day-to-day clinical operations and lead a team of nurses and care staff. Your role will focus on delivering exceptional resident care, ensuring clinical compliance, and driving a positive and supportive team culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the daily clinical operations of the home
- Oversee care planning, documentation, and reviews
- Coach, mentor, and support the clinical team including performance management
- Ensure compliance with aged care standards and AN-ACC
- Conduct clinical audits and risk reviews
- Liaise with GPs, specialists, allied health, and external providers
- Champion person-centred care and resident wellbeing
- Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration (essential)
- Post-graduate qualification in aged care (highly regarded)
- Experience leading clinical care in an aged care or acute setting
- Strong clinical assessment and care planning capabilities
- Confident communicator and capable team leader
- Knowledge of AN-ACC, quality standards, and resident rights
- Salary range of $125k - $150k (depending on experience)
