The Company:
This growing national Facilities Management contractor currently provides cleaning services to a large complex site in Wellington.

The Role:
This role will assist with the day to day operations and is a leadership role overseeing the cleaning team. Support the Account Manager and ensure high standard of cleaning services delivered to the client.

The hours are Sunday to Thursday (Monday to Thursday 2pm - 10.30pm and Sunday is more flexible on hours).

The Duties:

• Be the subject matter expert in cleaning services and machines
• Deliver high standard of floor cleaning e.g. strip n seal, carpet cleaning
• Cleaning projects including windows, grounds cleaning, litter management, deep (special) cleans
• Client facing - liaise with all manner of clients and the public 
• Report to the Key Account Manager and assist to manage the day to day operations of the site
• Rostering
• Training
• Recruitment, induction
• Budgeting 
• Health and safety

The Essential Criteria:

• Qualification in Commercial Cleaning e.g. Cert III (desirable) or significant experience in a similar role
• Experience leading teams of cleaning staff
• Experience on sites such as Commercial buildings, Shopping Centres, Leisure Centres, Hospitals, Hotels, Tertiary Education or Government Buildings.
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organisational skills (rostering, scheduling)
• Prioritise your time and make sure the team is supported to deliver their services on time
• Be motivating and passionate about your work
• Afternoon shift - Sunday to Thursday 2pm - 10.30pm
