The Role
As the Care Manager, you will oversee clinical operations and ensure high-quality, resident-centric care. You will use your leadership skills to guide and support nurses and personal care staff while fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. This position also involves managing human, material, and financial resources in alignment with budgetary requirements and organisational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support the clinical care team to deliver safe and contemporary care practices.
- Plan, allocate, and delegate duties to ensure policies and procedures are followed.
- Maintain compliance with Quality Agency Standards and other relevant aged care legislation.
- Lead and mentor staff to create a positive workplace culture focused on innovation and resident satisfaction.
- Participate in accreditation processes and ensure continuous improvement in care delivery.
Essential:
- Bachelor of Nursing (Registered Nurse) and current AHPRA registration.
- At least 3 years of experience in residential aged care.
- Working knowledge of aged care standards, regulations, and documentation requirements.
- Strong clinical knowledge and skills aligned with contemporary practice.
- Current National Police Certificate or ability to acquire one.
- Prior nursing management experience.
- Familiarity with accreditation processes.
