Salary: $90k - $120K + Super, based on experience level
Location: Waikato, NZ

About the Role

As an Automation / Control Systems Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering cutting-edge PLC/SCADA control systems, automated warehousing, and materials handling solutions for organizations large and small, across a range of industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and commission PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems
- Take charge of projects, from straightforward system upgrades to complex turnkey solutions
- Maintain and troubleshoot client systems, ensuring seamless operation
- Craft clear and concise documentation, including functional descriptions, user guides, and maintenance manuals
- Hold a relevant engineering degree (Electrical, Mechatronics, Controls, or similar)
- Hands-on experience in system integration, process control, testing, installation, and commissioning
- Proficient in PLC / HMI / SCADA programming across platforms such as Allen Bradley, Siemens, Schneider, etc.
