AustCorp Executive is working in partnership with a leading Energy and Resources company. The company specialises in delivering tailored production and maintenance services to support major projects across industries such as Oil & Gas, Mining and infrastructure.
  
The role we are recruiting for is a Costing Engineer. This person will be responsible for ensuring the financial efficiency and cost integrity of projects from inception to completion.
  
The Role

• Develop and implement cost estimation methodologies for diverse projects.
• Manage project cost, schedule and scope to ensure accurate and timely reporting of project performance.
• Analyse project plans to forecast costs accurately.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and external stakeholders to ensure budget adherence.
• Monitor project expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare detailed cost reports for stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers in cost estimation practices.

The Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in cost engineering or estimation.
• Proficiency in cost estimation software and financial analysis tools.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience in the energy and resources sector is advantageous.
