POSITION SUMMARY
The Outbound Phone Calling Assistant is responsible for professionally communicating with customers, serving as a key sales-focused point of contact, developing and maintaining product knowledge, navigating the company’s ERP and CRM systems, and initiating connections with prospects.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct outbound calls to prospects and clients:
- Follow up on quotes to close sales.
- Introduce the company’s product range.
- Offer samples and book appointments.
Use gathered information to book appointments and update records.
Explore opportunities to quote on large job lots.
Support sales targets with intelligent questions and lead identification.
Keep the sales team informed about significant events and trends, focusing on sales and margin targets.
KEY PERFORMANCE MEASURES
Administrative Support Satisfaction: Feedback from BDMs and Management on support quality.
Helpdesk Performance: Response times and call volume.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Skills:
- Reach out to potential clients from the company directory.
- Address client inquiries about their projects or goals.
- Generate 5-15 sales leads per day.
- Arrange appointments in line with BDM schedules.
- Offer training to internal sales team members as required.
- Report any issues to supervisory staff.
- Direct customer complaints to quality control.
- Consistently communicate with clients in a respectful manner.
Experience:
Telesales or customer service experience is required.
Proficient in CRM software and telephone systems.
Proven track record in meeting sales quotas, ideally via phone.
Ability to research and explain products/services to clients.
Strong English communication and interpersonal skills.
Customer-facing experience with exceptional service delivery.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks.
