Data / Comms Technician with 5+ years' experience, responsible for installing, testing and repairing data comms equipment & copper / fibre cabling.

Outline Duties

Seeking skilled Data / Comms Technicians to support a large client portfolios in Darwin and surrounding areas with their communication solutions. You will be responsible for installing, testing, maintaining and repairing data comms equipment and copper & fibre cabling. 

Skills and Attributes 
  • Over 5 years’ experience working as a Data / Comms Technician
  • Cert III Telecommunications & Open Cabling license 
  • Technically competent, installing, repairing and moving data comms systems, installing new PC workspaces, running new or replacing cables within racks 
  • Australian Citizen, with Drivers' Licence.
  • Defence Baseline or NV1 an advantage.
  • Must be a strong communicator and be comfortable being client facing / engaging with multiple stakeholders, you must be professional, well-spoken, and well presented 
  • Prior experience working on Optus or Telstra systems will be an advantage
