About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor for one of Australia's largest automated distribution centres. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth, efficient, and safe operations while maintaining the highest standards of productivity, system functionality, and team leadership.
This role requires expertise in managing automated systems, supervising a diverse workforce, and highly developed stakeholder management and client interface skills in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.
  
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day operations within the automated distribution centre, ensuring all systems run efficiently and without disruption.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of technicians to meet performance and productivity goals.
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and collaboration among team members.
  • Coordinate workforce planning, including shift scheduling and resource allocation, to ensure operational continuity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system malfunctions or disruptions.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall quality.
About You
  • A-grade Electrical License
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Exceptional fault-finding skills with automated material handling systems (experience with Siemens PLCs highly regarded)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to manage teams, resolve conflicts, and drive performance improvements.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent 
Shift Pattern: 2 weeks AM (6am start) / 2 weeks PM (12pm start)
Salary: Competitive hourly rate, 15% shift loading and OT penalty rates
Location: Tullamarine, Melbourne
