Our client, a leader in sheet metal design, laser cutting, bending, and supply, is seeking an Estimating and Drafting Officer to join their team.

Role Overview Ensure profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates from drawings, samples, and requests.
• Generate 2D/3D drawings for production.
• Enter customer purchase orders.
• Ensure timely quote completion.
• Build relationships with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Assist the sales team with daily tasks.
• Support other duties as needed.

• Follow company safety policies and legal obligations.
• Report hazards, near misses, and incidents.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Accounting, or related field (or a trade qualification in sheet metal).
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or sheet metal.
• Proficiency in engineering drawings, MS Office, ERP software, and CAD (Inventor, SolidWorks, AutoCAD).

• Strong technical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• High attention to detail.

Performance Goals:

• Contribute to monthly sales targets.
• Eligible for the Sales Incentive Program after the probation period.
