I am partnering with a Perth based OEM manufacturing that specialises in the engineering and production of specialised mechanical lifting systems. This company operates within national and international markets covering a diverse and exciting project range.

Due to their ongoing success, they are looking to recruit an Estimator who has experience in the processing and estimation of structural steel projects. This role would be well suited for an experienced Estimator who has experience with working within a Workshop Environment. This role will involve working on a variety of different projects throughout their entire life cycle.

As the Estimator your day to day will include, but not limited to:

• Take the lead on the estimation and processing of structural steel projects
• Liaise with clients, customers, workshop personnel, suppliers and internal parties to ensure satisfactory completion of clients
• Manage contract disputes, variations and negotiations
• Issue Workpacks to the Workshop Manager 

A little about you:

• 3+ years working experience with mechanical/ structural projects
• Manufacturing/Workshop experience
• Strong project estimation experience
• Excellent communication, problem solving and time management skills
• Understand commercial contractual terminology and experience with interpreting, negotiating and fulfilling contractual obligations
• Tertiary and Trade Qualifications with fabrication shop experience will be highly regarded
