Ideally qualified in a Building Services trade (M&E/HVAC) or Engineering / Business degree and 5+ years’ experience managing key deliverables across Planned & Reactive Maintenance.

An opportunity for a skilled Technical Operations / Maintenance Manager to lead a team undertaking planner and reactive maintenance across a range of Buildings and Building Infrastructure (footpaths, walkways and civils drainage), based in Regional NT.  

This is a key, stakeholder-facing role leading teams undertaking a mix of Planned & Reactive Maintenance across a range of assets: - M&E, HVAC, Water ring mains, HV power supply and footpaths / walkways and culverts.
  
A key success factor will be the ability to engage with the primary users, internal and external stakeholders, and additional support providers. Manage the delivery of Planned Maintenance, lead contract technical compliance and delivery strategies, P&L and implement business risk mitigation strategies for technical service delivery.

Base Criteria
You will ideally be qualified in a Building Services trade (Electrical, HVACR, Plumbing) or hold an Engineering / Business Degree along 5+ years’ experience managing a large Key Account or Contract (providing Building Services Maintenance, Minor Works and Capex Projects).
  
Outline Duties
Operationally drive and lead Maintenance Supervisors running teams delivering a mix of market-leading Planned & Reactive Maintenance Services, to a key client, whilst driving Stakeholder Engagement, Contract Development, Stakeholder Relationships and Contract Growth strategies.
  
Knowledge and experience in managing contract delivery through large, diverse teams spread across multiple sites is key. Prior experience managing Key Account relationships in Defence; Health; Education; Mine Camps, Universities, State or Federal Government is preferred.

Skills and Attributes 
  • Building Services Trade qualification, Engineering or Business Degree.
  • Over 8 years industry experience, you will have gained at least 5+ years Key Account / Account Management experience within an organisation delivering Planned & Reactive Maintenance Services and coordinating Minor Works to a large diverse portfolio.
  • Strong P&L skills, Key decision making, mentoring and business relationship development skills.
  • An excellent communicator, with strong English language skills, you will provide clear and concise instructions, management and contract-specific plans and undertake senior-level client interface.
  • An effective and engaging Internal and External Stakeholder relationship developer, ensuring you can win-over challenging stakeholders.
  • Ability to comfortably lead a diverse workforce (frontline trades and managerial staff) across multiple sites, gaining buy-in from staff for your key account delivery programme
  • Encourage people development initiatives, commitment to safe working practices and enhancing client-senior leadership relationships
  • Australian Citizen who holds a current NPC!
