The Role

Austcorp are currently seeking passionate and experienced Facility Manager for a leading Aged Care provider located on the Sydney Lower North Shore.

This is a historically high performing, medium sized facility where you will be supported by two clinical managers, ACFI coordinators, Educators, Rostering officers and 24/7 RNs.

The role offers excellent work life balance in this central location that is easily commutable from Sydneys Northern Beaches, Hills District, Eastern and inner West Suburbs from the beach, and ongoing professional development and progression opportunities.


Key Responsibilities

• Objectively oversee operations of the facility ensuring excellent person-centered care is being provided, meeting all of the aged care standards continuously
• To mentor and provide strong leadership to the team
• Undertake personal and professional development your team
• Finance and budget management across the facility, including working with the ACFI coordinator to ensure uplifts are accountable where required
• Liaise continuously with all stakeholders to ensure the facility is continuously developing

Role Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Aged Care as a Senior Manager / Consultant
• Understanding of the Aged Care Accreditation Process
• Strong communication and relationship building skills
• Understanding of ACFI processes
• Strong financial acumen and the ability to effectively discuss and oversee budgets
• High level leadership capabilities and the ability to maintain excellent reputation of this highly regarded facility
