Our client, a well-established and growing manufacturing business producing trade building supplies, is seeking a skilled Finance & Administration Manager / Senior Bookkeeper to oversee their financial operations. With 40 staff across office and factory operations, and expansion into new manufacturing sites, this is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional looking for a dynamic role.
About the Role
Reporting to senior management, this position plays a key role in ensuring financial integrity, managing bookkeeping, payroll, and financial reporting. While an accounting qualification is not required, you must be capable of preparing all financial documentation for compliance, tax, and reporting purposes. Start and finish times are flexible, allowing for work-life balance.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts receivable, invoicing, and reconciliations.
- Prepare financial reports, BAS, and GST lodgements.
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Assist with tax queries, insurance renewals, and claims.
- Support financial planning and budgeting in a growing business.
- Strong time management and attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Xero, and Salesforce.
- Experience in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and payroll processing.
- Knowledge of ASIC compliance.
- Understanding of Q Leave within the construction industry.
- A flexible work schedule.
- Option for a 4 day week, or reduced working hours eg.30 hours.
