Austcorp Executive is partnering with a ASX listed Technology company, who specialises in manufacturing Engineered Products to service the mining and resources sector.

We are actively recruiting for a new General Manager to join the team and play an integral role in the strategic growth of the business.

As the General Manager your core duties will include:

• Develop, implement and execute a strategic roadmap for continuous improvement across - safety, engineering, finance, geoscience, supply chain and operations.
• Lead from the front to foster a health culture that promotes new ways of thinking, team collaboration and a strong focus and awareness on sustainability. 
• Provide strong mentorship and professional development for your teams.
• Work with the business on controlling and developing budgets, financial stability and ensuring profitability.
• Provide strategic guidance for product development from conceptualisation through to market deployment.
• Make the final calculated call in difficult situations.
• Monitor company data across all functions safety, engineering, finance, geoscience, supply chain and operations to justify areas for improvement.
• Travel nationally and internationally for business requirements.
• Manage and mitigate risk.

Your professional background will include:

• A qualified Engineering background in - Mining, Automation and/or Geoscience.
• At least 4+ years operating in a similar role.
• A proven track record operating as a Senior Manager in the Australian Mining & Technology space - Must Have!
• Experience managing a large portfolio with Tier One mining Operators.
• Up to date with technology advancements and local and international mining regulations.
• A proven track record managing a business transformation life-cycle.
