A Dynamic, Australian owned Industrial Robotics Integrator is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced industrial electrician to join their dynamic team.
You will collaborate with experienced electricians, fitters, and fabricators to manufacture, assemble, test, and install bespoke automation machinery and robotic systems. This role involves diverse tasks, including wiring control cabinets, installing sensors, field wiring, and commissioning unique automation projects.

The AustCorp Executive Industrial team have been servicing the market for over 20 years across the APAC region. We have long standing relationships with Global Manufacturers, Local Distributors and SMEs in the space. We have assisted many clients in sourcing quality candidates for roles such as Operations & Engineering, Sales & Marketing and Customer Service & Administration.
You will collaborate with experienced electricians, fitters, and fabricators to manufacture, assemble, test, and install bespoke automation machinery and robotic systems. This role involves diverse tasks, including wiring control cabinets, installing sensors, field wiring, and commissioning unique automation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and work from detailed electrical schematics.
- Install and wire sensors, pneumatic valves, variable speed drives, servo drives, and industrial robot controllers.
- Adhere to occupational health and safety (OH&S) requirements and implement safe work practices.
- Layout and wire control cabinets in the factory, including components such as push buttons and HMIs.
- Travel to client sites to handle installation and commissioning of custom machinery and electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair heavy machinery and industrial equipment.
- Conduct diagnostics and fault finding on PLCs, VSDs, HMIs, robotics, and sensors.
- Provide rapid-response support for machinery breakdowns.
- Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment as needed.
- Install power, control, and automation systems as required.
- Holds an unrestricted Australian Electrical Licence.
- Brings over 4 years of experience in a comparable industry or environment.
- Possesses a valid NSW Driver's Licence.
- Holds a National Construction Industry White Card.
- Has experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- High-Risk Work Licence – Forklift.
- Certificate IV in Industrial Automation or related qualifications.
- Hands-on experience with robotics and PLCs.
