Job description

The Opportunity
  
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Lifestyle Coordinator to join the team and lead the planning and delivery of the facility’s lifestyle and activities program.
  
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and overseeing a range of social, recreational, and cultural activities aimed at enhancing residents' wellbeing and quality of life. The role will also involve managing volunteers, training staff, and ensuring all programs meet the individual needs, preferences, and values of residents.
  
This is a permanent part-time position, working 56 hours per fortnight.
  
What We Are Looking For
  
The ideal candidate will bring:
  
  • A Certificate IV in Leisure and Health (or an equivalent qualification)
  • Experience in designing and delivering programs based on adult learning principles
  • Excellent relationship-building and teamwork skills
  • A solid understanding of Aged Care Accreditation Standards, with experience delivering person-centered care in line with these standards
