Austcorp Executive are partnering with mining technology company. This engineering outfit specialises in manufacturing automated machinery which is used for exploration projects. As a result of continued growth we are currently recruiting for Mechanical Engineer to join the engineering team.
As the Mechanical Engineer you will be required to work on the design of both legacy and new products. The mechanical disciplines you will be focusing on is (Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Mobile Equipment).

As the Mechanical Engineer you will be required to work on the design of both legacy and new products. The mechanical disciplines you will be focusing on is (Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Mobile Equipment).
As the Mechanical Engineer your responsibilities will be the following:
- Manage design and detailed drafting through fabrication – FEA, DEM and calculate tolerance requirements using Solidworks.
- Provide clear and concise technical documentation to support calculations, analysis, checks and tests.
- Working closely with the fabrication and automation teams across the whole product life-cycle – from conceptualisation through to market deployment.
- Prepare reports for all design parts and components.
- Participate in the research and development of new engineering product concepts.
- You will be required to travel to site on occasion to commission equipment.
- Provide manufacturing support and technical advice to the fabrication/workshop team.
- A degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience with heavy mobile machinery – hydraulics and pneumatics equipment.
- Experience working in an engineering manufacturing environment.
- 2-5 years post graduate experience in Australian manufacturing.
- A proven track record deigning equipment with Solidworks.
