The role:
- Dry Fire Technician with extensive experience
- Survey and recommend Fire Protection and Safety systems/equipment for customers
- Identify, test, inspect, service and repair/replace fire protection and safety systems and equipment
- Maintain fire equipment and systems in accordance with Australian Standards
- 100% compliance to the Safety Health & Environment Management System (SHEMS) of the business
- Accurately follow internal processes
- Complete service reports
The Candidate:
- Experienced with customers and strong communication skills
- Electrical Licence and experienced Electrician in the Fire Services area
- Supervisor or Contractor's licence desirable
- Clean Drivers Licence
- Disciplined, good work ethic and time management skills
- Organised for daily planning & scheduling
- FPA accreditation for inspecting and testing all fire measures (or willing to obtain)
- Current Police and Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
- WHS Knowledge and application
- Hard working and be a self-starter / ability to work on your own when needed and with a team
- This active role also requires someone who is fit, agile and has no issues with climbing ladders for ceiling inspections etc. as required
