About the Company:
Our client is seeking a Project Administrator with 2+ years experience to join their growing team.  Reporting to the Contract Manager, this role will work closely with 2x Contract Admins, Subcontractors and clients, requesting extension of time (EOT) requests whilst ensuring the company does not get penalized.  The division has an interesting portfolio with a growing pipeline and the company offers continuous career development and progression.

About the Role:

  • Set up processes for extension of time (EOT) requests and liaise with the Contract Administrators where required.
  • Identify trends and monitor the performance of the trades.
  • Set up and run registers efficiently.
  • Process a high volume of work orders per month.
  • Ensure all admin is up to date and documents are submitted within the specified time period.
  • Liaise and negotiate with the internal office and Clients.
  • Act as the point of contact for all vendors and tradespeople / subcontractors.
  • Ensure a high level of communication and teamwork with all stakeholders.
  • Consistently achieving and assisting subcontractors in their obligations to meet a high quality of workmanship in accordance with client expectations.
About you:
  • 2+ years experience in a similar position.
  • Experience within the construction sector is advantageous, but not required, so long as you have relevant / transferable experience.
  • Prior experience requesting EOTs is required.
  • Strong Excel skills, a good understanding of IT, and can pickup software quickly as our client uses a bespoke software.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Strong administration skills.
  • Keen eye for detail.
