Austcorp Executive are partnering with an Australian owned manufacturing company who specialise in the fabrication of heavy steel products for the mining and construction industries. 

This person will be working directly with the Operations Manager to ensure the success of projects. This person must have some experience either in a Project Coordination or Estimating position within the heavy fabrication industry.

As the Project Coordinator / Estimator you will be responsible for:

• Liaise with workshop and purchasing teams to ensure project schedules and timelines are met

• Develop cost estimates for fabrication works

• Prepare Manufacturing Data Reports

• Conduct 3D scanning of components when required (training provided)

• Interpret technical drawings and specifications 

A little bit about you:

• 2 + Years experience with heavy steel fabrication 

• Experience in a project coordinator / estimator position

• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Familiarity with Autocad or other CAD technologies
