Job description

Strong, skilled and stakeholder-orientated Project Manager to lead Upgrade, Fit-Out and Refurbishment projects in Adelaide and the wider South Australian Region.

Base Criteria
Ideally Certificate III in Data and Voice Communications, Open Cabler and / or Electrical Trade qualified with 4+ years post-apprentice project management experience leading projects to $4M.

Outline Duties
Support and manage the efficient and effective delivery of Capex projects to $4 million across a large diverse range of clients and portfolios, providing key operational planning and direction.
 
Ensuring delivery of multiple concurrent Data / Communications Refurbishment, Fit-Out and Minor Works projects (average $50K to $4M each) across a range of clients (including Defence) in accordance with Regulations, Statutory Compliance and Industry Best Practice.

Skills and Attributes 

  • Australian Citizenship is required due to Defence and Federal Government projects.
  • Over 8 years industry experience, you will have gained at least 4 years Project Management / Supervisory experience within an organisation delivering Minor and Capital Works to multiple Federal & Territory Government, Leisure, Commercial and Education premises.
  • Technically competent, responsible for leading a team of direct and sub-contract staff undertaking Building De-fits, Re-fits, and replacement / minor works on Data / Communications.
  • Prior experience on MS Project, Excel programs is preferred.
  • You will have excellent Project Management skills, able to manage the full PMO function from costing, pricing and bidding on projects to mobilisation and ongoing support and progress updates.
  • Ensure the quality of projects and meeting completion / handover timescales.
  • Prior experience across Fibre-optic cabling installation, rack installation, commercial network fitouts and office networks.
