Telecommunications Rigger – Join Our Brisbane Team!

This role involves statewide and regional travel, offering an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge wireless communication systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work at heights on mobile base station structures to install antennas, feeders, and ancillary equipment.
• Install antenna mounts on rooftops, poles, and towers using ropes, winches, and rigging gear.
• Operate cranes, cherry pickers, and EWPs as required for on-site tasks.
• Perform various manual labour tasks to complete site works efficiently.
• Utilise advanced rigging techniques to install steelwork on monopoles, towers, and guyed masts, ensuring 100% attachment at all times.
• Install, terminate, and test feeder RF cables and hybrid communication cables for compliance.
• Apply waterproofing and install earth kits, systems, and Hybrid fibre cables for RRU equipment.
• Label and tag feeder cables and tails for proper identification.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe worksite at all times.

About You:

• Proven experience in the telecommunications/wireless industry, with a solid understanding of rigging practices.
• Mandatory Basic Rigger’s Ticket.
• Valid Elevated Work Platform (EWP) Ticket and Safe Work at Heights certification.
• Previous experience working on wireless projects for Optus, NBN, or Telstra.
• Must be located in Brisbane with working rights!!
