Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their industrial chemical needs are consistently met.
- Business Development: Identify new business opportunities to grow market share and expand the client base within the industrial chemicals sector.
- Sales Performance: Meet and exceed sales targets through the effective promotion and sale of chemical products and solutions.
- Client Support: Offer outstanding customer support, including technical advice, product guidance, and troubleshooting to meet client requirements.
- Negotiation & Contract Management: Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to secure profitable agreements with customers.
- Market Insights: Monitor industry trends, competitor actions, and market changes to uncover growth opportunities.
- Reporting & Forecasting: Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management, tracking account performance and identifying challenges and opportunities.
To be successful:
- Over 5 years of experience in the chemical industry, showcasing in-depth industry knowledge.
- Proven success in acquiring new customers and principals, driving significant business growth.
- Expertise in financial management with a strong focus on maximizing returns.
- Skilled mentor and trainer, dedicated to fostering professional development within teams.
- Consistent ability to meet or exceed budgets as set by the Executive Directors.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a professional approach to representing the organization.
