About The Company:
Rockpress is Southeast Queensland's top metal fabricator, renowned for delivering precision engineering and quality solutions. We are seeking a skilled Sales Estimator to join the high preforming team in Acacia Ridge and support continued growth.
  
The Role:
The Sales Estimator will prepare cost estimates, interpret technical drawings, and deliver competitive quotes to secure new business. This role involves collaborating with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure accurate and cost-effective solutions.
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse project specifications and prepare detailed estimates.
• Liaise with clients to understand requirements and provide tailored quotes.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers.
• Ensure project feasibility and cost-effectiveness with internal teams.

Skills and Experience:

• We are seeking candidates with trade qualifications such as a Certificate III in Engineering (Fabrication, Mechanical, Metal Machining, or Welding) or equivalent experience in metal manufacturing.
• Experience in estimating, preferably in metal fabrication or manufacturing or a strong desire to move into this field.
• Strong understanding of fabrication processes and materials.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office.
