Job description

If you’re seeking a sales role where you can truly make an impact, this is your chance! Join a leading company in ophthalmic imaging devices and software, and play a key role in improving clinical outcomes through sales, service, and education.

We’re looking for a dynamic and driven Sales Manager with a strong industry and/or technical background to join our Sydney-based team.

What You’ll Do:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including ophthalmology practices, hospitals, and research institutions.
  • Engage with key opinion leaders (KOLs), providing expert consultation and support for innovative products.
  • Deliver compelling technical product demonstrations and presentations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, technical support, and training.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for our imaging solutions.
What We’re Looking For:
  • A bachelor’s degree in a clinical or technical field (e.g., orthoptics, optometry, biomedical engineering) preferred.
  • Experience in optometry, orthoptics, ophthalmology, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Technical sales experience in the medical device or ophthalmic industry is a plus.
  • Strong IT skills and a digital-first mindset.
  • A hands-on approach—while you don’t need to be an expert technician, mechanical aptitude is a bonus.
  • An independent and proactive sales professional who enjoys engaging with customers in the field, fostering strong relationships, and driving business growth through consultative selling.
  • A resourceful problem-solver who is comfortable navigating ambiguity, takes initiative to find solutions, and thrives on helping customers overcome challenges.
What We Offer:
  • A collaborative and supportive culture—we’re passionate about improving eye health outcomes and have fun doing it!
  • Independence, remote work flexibility, and the chance to be part of a small, dynamic team within a global business.
  • Domestic travel within NSW & ACT, occasional national travel, and even international opportunities.
