About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Technician to join the on-site automation maintenance team. You will be responsible for electrical diagnostics, fault finding, and preventative maintenance on high-tech automated equipment including SCADA and PLC systems.
This role is perfect for someone hands-on and solution-oriented who enjoys working in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment. You'll play a critical role in ensuring uptime, reliability, and efficiency across the site.
Key Responsibilities
Location: Truganina, Melbourne VIC
Shift Pattern: Afternoon Shift – 3.00pm to 11.00pm
Salary: Competitive hourly rate + shift penalties + overtime

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Technician to join the on-site automation maintenance team. You will be responsible for electrical diagnostics, fault finding, and preventative maintenance on high-tech automated equipment including SCADA and PLC systems.
This role is perfect for someone hands-on and solution-oriented who enjoys working in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment. You'll play a critical role in ensuring uptime, reliability, and efficiency across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct electrical diagnostics and fault finding on automation systems
- Execute preventative maintenance tasks in line with site schedules
- Troubleshoot faults, jams, communication errors and breakdowns
- Monitor the SCADA system for error messages and alerts
- Log and track work using MEX or similar CMMS platforms
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to restore system functionality and reduce downtime
- A-grade Electrical Licence (Victoria)
- Demonstrated experience in electrical maintenance within automated environments
- Strong skills in PLC fault-finding (Siemens experience advantageous)
- Familiarity with SCADA systems and industrial communications
- Able to interpret electrical schematics and work with diagnostic software
- Clear and current driver's licence
- Able to obtain an ASIC and airside driver’s licence (where applicable)
- Available to work a Monday to Friday afternoon shift: 3.00pm to 11.00pm
