What We’re Looking For
We seek a professional with strong business acumen and an accounting or finance degree.

You should have over 5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience in a chartered or commercial setting, with prior experience using Netsuite as an ERP system being a considerable advantage.

You thrive both independently and within a small team, possess a drive for continuous improvement, and demonstrate critical thinking. Pride in your work and a desire to make a positive social impact are essential.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with payment policies while efficiently managing accounts payable and receivable, including follow-ups on overdue accounts.
  • Handle GST reconciliation and prepare and lodge Activity Statements and BAS.
  • Manage payroll, benefits, and compensation packages.
  • Process and reconcile expense claims and credit card transactions.
  • Review and update inventory costs.
  • Perform bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare necessary reports, including tax submissions, monthly financial statements, EOFY reports, annual budgets, and more.
  • Oversee cash flow management, including foreign exchange, and contribute to quarterly reports, forecasts, and cost reduction initiatives through data analytics.
  • Manage project costs, including reconciliation and analysis.
  • Assist with cost controls, including negotiating prices and terms with suppliers, vendors, and freight forwarders.
  • Actively support quality management processes and procedures.
  • Assist in preparing Board reports and management meeting presentations.
  • Establish and enhance system controls for financial models, acting as the ERP Champion for Netsuite.
