About the Role:
As Projects Estimator in Sydney, you’ll be a vital member of this established estimating team, working collaboratively with the sales and bid teams to provide accurate and competitive project estimates. This position will evolve from a supporting role into a key role in bid submissions, with opportunities for leadership in cost estimation for major infrastructure projects.

As Projects Estimator in Sydney, you’ll be a vital member of this established estimating team, working collaboratively with the sales and bid teams to provide accurate and competitive project estimates. This position will evolve from a supporting role into a key role in bid submissions, with opportunities for leadership in cost estimation for major infrastructure projects.
What You’ll Do:
- Review RFQ documents, contracts, and tender specifications to create precise cost estimates.
- Collaborate with sales teams, project managers, and technical teams to build detailed estimates for odour control and chemical dosing systems.
- Source optimal pricing from suppliers, select compliant and cost-effective products, and maintain thorough documentation of estimation inputs.
- Provide technical insights and strategic cost options to support project bids, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct reviews and provide feedback during project handover, supporting a seamless transition to the project delivery team.
- Support and participate in the development of standard templates for costing and contribute to process improvements.
- A background in Estimating, Quantity Surveying, or Engineering is preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Familiarity with process engineering, odour control, or chemical dosing systems, particularly within the water sector.
- Practical understanding of materials and components in water and sewer infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of odour control systems, chemical dosing, and automated control systems is an advantage.
