The Opportunity
  
AustCorp has been appointed to secure a Senior / Lead Audio Visual and Communications Technician to assist this growing Division of a national business who currently provides a range of Installation and Ongoing Maintenance Services to clients across the Federal Government, Defence, Corporate Office, and Financial Services sectors.

• $45 - $48 p/h + Super
• Vehicle + O/T and Tools
• 1x Rostered day off per month

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation of various audio visual equipment including displays, video walls, equipment racks, projectors, audio hardware and speakers, network, and control systems
• Installing, testing, and replacing data comms and cabling
• Installation of Crestron, Extron, AMX and QSC control systems
• Installation of VC systems (Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Cisco & Poly)

Job Requirements:

• Qualified in Electronics, A/V or Electrical
• Open Cabling Licence (Essential)
• Must have a mixture of Audio Visual and Data/Communications industry experience
• 5+ years’ experience working as an AV / Comms Technician with heavy installation experience on commercial and / or government sites
• Technically competent, confident installing and relocating data comms systems, installing new A/V systems, and running new cables to racks 
• Must be a strong communicator and be comfortable being client facing / engaging with multiple stakeholders, you must be professional, well-spoken, and well presented 
• Prior experience working on Optus or Telstra systems will be an advantage 
• White Card
• Valid Driver's License
• National Police Check and Defence Clearance (Baseline / NV1) Required
• Be able to pass a pre-employment medical
