About the role:
We are seeking a Pump Service Technician / Maintenance Fitter to join our clients busy Mackay based team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various types of pumps and fluid handling equipment. You will work both independently and as part of a team, and will be responsible for ensuring that their customers' equipment is operating at peak efficiency.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Pump repair, maintenance, and assessment
• Testing and troubleshooting
• Component restoration
• Documentation of service records
• On-site, field, and workshop-based tasks

Key Criteria:

• Proven hands-on experience with various pump technologies and associated plant.
• Experience in fault finding, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, set-up, and installation.
• Compliance with OH&S documentation, etc.
• Effective prioritization and organization of work.
• Computer literacy and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret parts lists, repair manuals, technical drawings, and operating procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Positive team player with a can-do attitude.
• Ability to persevere with challenging tasks.
• Focused on quality and safety.
• Adherence to all company standards, site regulations, and policies.
