The Company
My client operates across Australia and New Zealand and seeks a Territory Manager for Newcastle to promote coronary intervention, structural heart products, and peripheral/radiological interventions.

We are seeking a Territory Manager or individuals with a hospital or medical background to manage our diverse product range. The role is technically and clinically challenging, so candidates with cath lab training, such as biomedical engineers, nurses, technologists, or radiographers, will be preferred.

This will be a part-time role (3 days/week), eventually moving to full-time. 

Salary: Base $100K to 130K depending on experience experience, car allowance, sales commission and sales bonus (pro-rata initally)

Requirements:
  • Minimum of three years' experience in the industry with relevant qualifications.
  • Experience in cath lab HIGHLY DESIRED
  • No previous sales experience is required. If you have the clinical knowledge and expertise in Coronary and vascular Intervention, Interventional radiology, or neurology, extensive sales training will be provided to help you succeed in this role.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and possessing a can-do attitude.
  • Experience in coronary intervention sales and clinical support.
  • Strong communication, writing, and administrative skills.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily promotional visits to cath labs and doctors' offices.
  • Receive comprehensive initial clinical knowledge, product and sales training and ongoing on-the-job development.
  • Acquire and update knowledge of company and competitor products and market conditions.
  • Regularly visit existing and potential clients to identify and act on sales opportunities.
  • Provide support for peripheral and coronary intervention procedures.
  • Assess customer needs, recommend appropriate products, and explain their benefits.
  • Monitor changes in customer needs and competitor activities and report these to sales management.
  • Negotiate prices, finalize contracts, record orders, and arrange delivery and installation of equipment and support services.
  • Report sales results and feedback on product marketability to sales management.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any issues.
  • Maintain and submit daily reports, sales reports, and records of business expenses.
