The Role:

We are looking for an experienced UX/UI Designer to join our Digital Group located in the new commercial offices in the Sydney CBD, NSW. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating outstanding client and internal user experiences, promoting UX/UI principles across the business, and collaborating closely with various teams to enhance digital products.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and define user experiences for both clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Lead UX/UI prototyping activities, promoting best practices in design and usability.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that clearly communicate design concepts.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform and iterate designs.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and marketing teams to create engaging user experiences aligned with business goals.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, incorporating them into your design process.
  • Ensure consistency in branding and adherence to design guidelines across all digital products.
  
Main Activities:
  • Collaborate on defining user experience requirements.
  • Optimize user flows, information architecture, and navigation for usability.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure the seamless implementation of designs.
  • Participate in planning, discovery, and design workshops for various projects.
  • Contribute positively to the development of team goals and strategies.
Key Skills:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated and willing to take initiative in learning and adapting.
  • Flexibility to engage in a wide range of activities that benefit the business. 
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD.
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. 
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. Relevant certifications or equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer with a portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions.
  • Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and gathering insights for design decisions.
  • Excellent visual design skills with attention to detail in typography, layout, and responsiveness.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment managing multiple projects.
