The Organisation:
The nationally recognised food organisation is looking for a WHS Advisor. Based at the Huntingwood site 2148, the site is highly automated, sophisticated and equipped to industry best practice. This role will look after one site, with occasional travel from time to time but its other site located 10 minutes away.
The company has been built on the foundations of culture, workers safety, excellence and process improvements. This ensures that customer’s product expectations are delivered throughout the companies end to end process.

This role will be reporting to the WHS Manager which will be part of a collaborative Health & Safety team passionate about ensuring a strong Workplace Health and Safety culture.

The Role:
This role will be reporting to the WHS Manager which will be part of a collaborative Health & Safety team passionate about ensuring a strong Workplace Health and Safety culture.
Responsibilities:
- Support with the implementation of company WHS policies and procedures at the multiple sites.
- Design and implement WHS improvement initiatives across the two sites.
- Assist with audits, inspections, and observations to ensure the site are meeting the requirements of Health & Safety legislation and company policies and procedures.
- Coordinating rehabilitation and return to work programs in align with the companies return to work policies.
- Undertaking all necessary actions required for the management of an injured worker.
- Assist on incident investigations and implementing corrective actions.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role within FMCG environment.
- Risk Management and competition of risk assessments. Incident reports and completing incident investigations.
- Completed Tertiary Qualifications in Health & Safety. (Minimum of Certificate IV)
- Strong written & verbal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
- The ability to work independently and consistently and also in a team environment.
- Experience in a food, FMCG, Poultry, Pork or Meat company highly desired.
