Austcorp Executive are partnering with a global leader in manufacturing mining technology and equipment, with a strong focus on automation solutions for mobile drilling equipment. This company designs, engineers, produces and services their products here in Perth.
Off the back of a successful year this company is looking to bring on board a Workshop Supervisor to lead a team of workshop personnel and automation technicians, through a complete manufacturing product life-cycle.
The Key duties of the Workshop Supervisor will be but not limited to:

Off the back of a successful year this company is looking to bring on board a Workshop Supervisor to lead a team of workshop personnel and automation technicians, through a complete manufacturing product life-cycle.
The Key duties of the Workshop Supervisor will be but not limited to:
- Manage the delivery of workshop projects from start to completion, both new builds and servicing.
- Work with clients and suppliers to develop and maintain good working relationships.
- Ensure all safety standards and protocols and maintained and workshop documentation is recorded.
- Oversee the quality assurance and control of the workshop tasks.
- Identify areas for continuous improvement and implement new methods to optimise lean manufacturing principles.
- Confidently delegate tasks between the workshop team to ensure speed of completion.
- 5+ years managing / supervising a workshop (heavy mobile, automation or drilling equipment).
- Excellent personal communication, interaction and motivation skills.
- Hold an Australian recognized Mechanical / Auto Electrical trade qualification.
- Ideally experience in setting up workshop processes.
- Highly preferred qualification in green/black belt six sigma.
