The candidates we place are either PAYG Contractors employed by AustCorp or PTY Contractors contracted to work for your business, managed and paid through AustCorp.

Compliance

PTY LTD Company – Contract Requirements: The following documents must be provided by a contractor operating as a PTY LTD Company/Partnership or Trust:

  • Certificate of Registration (Issued by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission)

  • Australian Business Number (ABN)

  • Goods and Services Tax  (GST)- Notice of Registration (Where a GST is to be claimed)

  • Insurance covers including: 

      - Professional Indemnity (PI) – Cover is a minimum of $5M

      - Public Liability (PL)- Cover is $20M

      - Workers Compensation – For relevant State/Territory around Australia

Period of insurance must cover the period of contact with AustCorp:

  • EFT pay information with all required bank details – this must be a company bank account.

  • Proof of right to work in Australia (Passport or birth certificate)

  • Trade Certificate

  • White Card

  • Union Certificate (Optional)

We will not place any 'hire on demand' candidate or PTY without doing several direct references with previous employers. We will not work with or place any candidate without the correct certification and trade approval paperwork to back up his or her application. This will depend on the service you want to engage us on and the degree of difficulty in the talent you are seeking to employ. Some requirements can be filled within a day if you are looking for contract staff, others can take four weeks, and for senior appointments that require market mapping with a more targeted approach, it can take up to 10 weeks to provide a shortlist. It really depends on your requirements.
