Maintenance Electrician Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Location: Redbank, QLD Shift Pattern Morning shift: 5.00am  – 1.00pm Afternoon shift: 1.00pm - 9.00pm Salary: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour + shift loading + overtime About the company This organisation is a major player in automation and intralogistics, with a strong footprint across Australia and beyond. Due to ongoing growth, we’re seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our team at a key site in Redbank. About the Role If you're someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, thrives in a team environment, and has a knack for electrical fault-finding and SCADA systems, this could be your next step. We're particularly keen to hear from trade-qualified technicians who are proactive, safety-conscious, and solution-oriented. What You’ll Be Doing Carrying out diagnostic assessments on automated systems Executing preventative maintenance tasks as per the site schedule Identifying faults, mechanical issues, jams, and system breakdowns—and completing necessary repairs Resolving communication faults and electrical issues across PLC and SCADA interfaces Scheduling and logging maintenance activities using MEX or similar systems Monitoring system data and alarms through SCADA platforms What You’ll Need Electrical trade qualifications A current Queensland Electrical Licence (Supervisors or Contractors) Strong background in PLC troubleshooting and diagnostics Proven experience with preventative maintenance frameworks A valid driver's licence Availability to work full-time hours (Monday to Friday, rotating shifts) What’s in it for You? $45.00 - $50.00 per hour + paid lunch breaks Overtime after 8-hour shifts and on weekends Ongoing support with licence and registration renewals Uniforms, PPE, and on-site parking provided Be part of a growing industry with exciting tech-driven projects Please note: Only applicants with unrestricted working rights in Australia (Australian/NZ Citizens or Permanent Residents) will be considered for this role. You’ll bring clarity and control across AP/AR, payroll, compliance and reporting. Supporting strong financial governance in a business with $50m+ turnover. With oversight of an Accounts Clerk and responsibility for monthly reporting, budgeting and BAS submissions, your role is critical in ensuring that the company's financial systems run smoothly, accurately and in sync with project delivery. Must-Haves & Key Responsibilities of the Role: Qualified Accountant Accounts Payable and Receivable - familiar with business turnovers/volumes >$20m (>$50m preferable) Manage an accounts clerk in your team who will help with a large amount of the AP & AR.  Bank reconciliations Payroll  Superannuation Payroll Tax BAS & PAYG (qualified to submit our own BAS) PAYGI Management Reporting Budget preparation and review Review of General Purpose Financial Statements (prepared by external accountant) Responding to Equifax (or similar) Corporate Scorecard processes (used by some clients/govt prior to contracting) Advantageous but not essential: Experience working within the construction sector Experience with construction accounting software (something above Xero, MYOB - our client uses Jonas Premier) QBCC Financial Reporting Project Trust Accounts Trust Account Transfers Tax Audits - review and coordination with external auditors for annual audits for business turnovers > $50m Other Details: Typical work day: 8am - 5pm Staff can start earlier (anywhere from 6am) and finish earlier No WFH The key benefits for you!
